DaffodilsThe winter of 2010/2011 was so cold that hardly any daffodils bloomed that spring. I decided to paint some from a photograph I had taken another year. To make it more challenging I painted two canvases at the same time. Somehow, I thought I would get two "different" paintings; like one would look like Monet did it and the other would be in my style. Alas, they were almost identical and in my own style. |
