Mandala

I placed this painting in a show (years ago) on a far wall because I didn't feel it was up the quality of other more detailed paintings. Well, this painting really came alive and, figuratively, popped of the wall at that show. I have never felt the same about this picture since. I think it works so well because, as with my other works (including my other mandalas), it has a certain dimensionality to it. Although it stands on its own, I think that it would go great hanging with my other two mandalas. It is somewhat larger than the other two so a wall collection would really look fantastic.
