Unicorn

This was my first attempt at "professional" art. At the time, I decided that if I was ever going to paint for a living, my technique and/or style had to go that extra step; make it sparkle. That step or leap won't guarantee success, but it will give the the artist the satisfaction of knowing that he has done everything within his power to make the painting work. The "Unicorn" was difficult to paint, took a long while, and it works to this day.
